People jump down people’s throats if they are perceived as “defending” Joe (I mean he is a murder but people are literally doing the exact thing to OP and they weren’t defending Joe at all.) what OP is saying is Peach is also indefensible due to her actions. Guys I don’t think OP is comparing Peach to Joe.they’re comparing the way people react to/defend these characters. And that therefore the cast and crew when talking about a character receiving a problematic defence need to look at her more as she gets it a lot more than Joe does. I am not saying Peach is worse than Joe I am saying Peach is defended on a moral basis by the audience of the show more than Joe is. I'm not disagreeing with that, and I have not disagreed with that in this post or in my comments. I wish they had actually looked into the interpretations of the characters they had shown, and in all their conversations about audiences looking past a villainous character, spoke about the one who actually fit that bill. Whenever the cast and crew spoke about a villain receiving worship and praise and people looking past their flaws after season 1 aired, they always spoke about Joe.
